A water company that tells you when you do not need anything

NWA Water Pros exists to answer one question honestly: what is actually in your water, and what — if anything — is worth doing about it.

Why we work this way

The water treatment industry has a credibility problem, and it is not hard to see where it came from. A salesperson arrives, performs a demonstration that turns a glass of water brown, shows a meter reading that sounds alarming, and produces a price that is only good today. None of it is measurement. All of it is designed to produce a signature before you have time to check anything.

We built this business around the opposite sequence. Test first. Explain the numbers. Recommend against the numbers. Leave. If you want to think about it for a fortnight, or get two other quotes, that is a reasonable thing to do and we will not make it awkward.

What we actually know about Northwest Arkansas water

This region is unusual. A large share of its population drinks treated surface water originating in Beaver Lake, while a large share of its land area sits on private wells drawing from fractured Ozark limestone. Those two supplies behave very differently, and the equipment that suits one frequently does nothing useful for the other.

It also means the national sales script does not fit here. A company that assumes hard water everywhere will sell softeners to households on treated surface water who did not need one, and will miss the bacteria and nitrate questions that genuinely matter on a well in Madison County.

What we will not do

  • Perform an electrolysis demonstration, which measures nothing
  • Present a TDS reading as a safety test, which it is not
  • Claim a system removes a contaminant without showing you the certification for that specific model
  • Make health or medical claims about water treatment
  • Use pricing that expires when we leave
  • Recommend equipment your test results do not support
  • Publish a licence, certification, warranty, review or statistic we cannot evidence

How we talk about what we cannot prove

You will notice highlighted placeholders on this website where a business fact has not yet been verified. That is deliberate. We would rather show you a gap than fill it with something plausible, and the same principle governs what we tell you about your water.

Licensing and who does the work

NWA Water Pros specifies and supplies your system. Installation is performed by an independent licensed plumbing contractor.

We test your water, recommend a system, and supply the equipment. The physical plumbing installation is completed by an independent plumbing contractor who is separately licensed by the State of Arkansas and carries their own insurance. We coordinate the schedule and stay involved through startup and testing, but the installing contractor is responsible for the plumbing work and warrants their own labor.

Full detail is on our contractor and installation disclosure page.

Our approach

Testing first is not a slogan

We measure before we recommend

Every recommendation on this website is described as depending on your test results, because it does.

We explain what the numbers mean

Including which ones are simply normal for Northwest Arkansas and not worth spending money on.

We say when nothing is needed

A result that says your water is fine is a perfectly good outcome, and we deliver it regularly.

Find out what is actually in your water

A water test turns guesswork into a specification. We measure what your water is doing, explain the result in plain language, and recommend only what the result supports.
