Financing a Water Treatment System
Consumer credit advertising is regulated, so this page will only ever contain terms a lender has approved.
Before you finance anything
We would rather say this plainly than sell you a bigger system on a longer term.
- Get the test first. The right system might cost considerably less than the one being discussed.
- Ask for the total cost of credit, not the monthly payment. A low monthly figure over a long term can add a great deal to the price.
- Include the running costs. Salt, cartridges, media and lamps are real annual expenses that no finance agreement covers.
- Be wary of same-day financing pressure. A financing offer that expires with the salesperson is a sales tactic rather than a lending decision.
- Consider phasing the work. Addressing the biggest problem first and adding stages later is often cheaper than financing everything at once.
If cost is the constraint, tell us
There is almost always a smaller, cheaper option that addresses the main finding from your test. A sediment filter and a good under-sink cartridge solve a surprising number of complaints for a fraction of what a whole-house system costs. We would rather fit that than talk you into a payment plan.
Questions about financing
Is there a cheaper option than financing?
Often, yes. A smaller system that addresses the actual test result usually costs less than a large one financed over years. If cost is the constraint, say so early and we will show you what the minimum sensible option looks like.
